We’ve had the lot here in Cornwall overnight, a tornado (not at our house admittedly), thunder, lightning, snow and wind. It’s been so wild that at about 3am I was woken by Lola jumping into bed beside me. She was literally throwing herself at me trying to get inside me. She was completely terrified of the lightning, not surprisingly after our bad experience with it a couple of years ago but she couldn’t be consoled. She decided just me wasn’t enough so she clambered over me and made a little nest between our heads on our pillows and then finally found solace in DMs arms. Meanwhile JD ran around the room whimpering. It was as bad as anything thrown at us since we’ve been here.
This morning we got up to a couple of inches of snow. It was so well stuck to the car that this shot was taken after we’d driven 12 miles to work. It seems somehow symbolic that the snow is hiding the flowers!
