A couple of mornings ago I got up and saw a stunning sky. I fiddled about looking for camera and a memory card but by the time I had both in my hand the moment had passed. This morning Lola wanted to go out at about 7.30am so I took her down and as I opened the door I saw this sight. I decided “to hell with finding a 5D and its bits and bobs, I’ll shoot it with the purple monster”…so I did! All it took was a quick rummage into th darkest recesses of the handbag and just after seeing this, I was marching out into the garden in my jim-jams to get the shot.
Although I later went on to spend a couple of hours in the studio shooting posed photos, they might have induced groans of “not more of those things” so hence the appearance of the dawn at gone 9pm. Anyway, it's the second shot of the skies above Cornwall in two days and there isn't a drop of rain in either shot - that's got to be good!
