However many times I see this view (and I see it a lot) I can honestly say, it never looks the same twice. Seasons, weather and time of day make for very different looks. Today the morning sun is shining on the back of the buildings and the rainclouds that we had here a couple of hours earlier are now piling up on Dartmoor (on the horizon of this shot). The bracken in its death throes is making the scene look rusty and the sunshine is making our grass ping out with zesty colour. Did you know bracken is extremely toxic? It contains cyanide.
