27th May 2014 - don't fence me in

Can anyone tell me why it is that a stretch of barbed wire can have some sections as rusty as rusty things and other sections completely rust free when they are adjacent and there is nothing that is hitting one bit and not the other? It’s baffling to me.

It’s “sod’s law” in action here because the weather since our guests left has been glorious and although it wasn’t as dreadful as it can be while they were here, it certainly wasn’t unbroken sunshine. We’ve taken full advantage of my less frenetic schedule to spend time on the moor with our beautiful babies. We’ve been set free from the fencing of our normal life, however fleetingly and I am relishing the moment.

Earlier today, I bumped into several of my PGCE friends and we all agreed that we would NEVER recommend doing a PGCE…not even to our worst enemies. I think that gives me some solace because I thought it might be “just me”.

Uneven galvanizing. Almost nothing is perfect all the way, except your pictures of course... ;)
