It’s more than a little surprising how proud you can be over a simple print, made from a quarter of a polystyrene pizza package with a pattern bodged into it with a pencil. I am indeed dead proud of my work, now displayed on the fridge. I’m pretty sure that I’ve not really done any printing before other than potato prints. I’m equally sure I didn’t realise how much fun some of this stuff would be or how it would bolster my self-esteem.
I know that again, for the second day in 3 days, I have not produced a photo of any artistic merit but it’s Sunday evening, I am tired after a day of preparation for tomorrow and therefore it’s the best I can do. What I can say is this – I should have done some art night school classes years ago to help relieve stress and to bring me some comfort and joy.
