I know, I know – it’s a shot I’m not overly proud of but it’s been a long hard day and I’ve had no opportunity for a photo so in the lull before the storm, I shot this. By the lull before the storm I mean that DM was out picking up friends to bring them over for dinner – they were planning to walk home over the moor later. By dinner I mean pizzas on knees, made with the new pizza pilgrims method.

In fact, it was a lot later (certainly gone midnight) that they left us and although I found my way to bed shortly after they left, DM tells me this morning that he had a sudden and mad urge to listen to Pink Floyd so he was playing a vinyl album at 1am and he tells me it was LOUD! I must have been comatose because I was not aware of any of this. He also tells me that he woke up to the sound of ssshhhhhh bip ssshhhhhh bip ssshhhhhh bip. This is the noise that a record makes when the needle is going round and round in its centre after it has played through.

So, the quality of the photo is poor but the quality of the evening was good!
