While I’ve been working in the corner of our garden this sight has caught my eye a number of times. I’ve looked at it for hours while I’ve been syphoning oil. Since then, although I’ve had to be staring at the wall while I’ve been scraping off paint, every time I look up I see it. In the afternoon it’s especially pretty because the sun is behind the fence and therefore the light twinkles through.
Honestly – the fact that I’ve been staring at the fence from under a load of shrubbery shows how exciting my life isn’t at the moment. I continue to “make progress” with jobs but boy is it dull. It’s also dirty and smelly.
I’ve run out into the garden at half time in the Spurs Swansea match to get the shot while listening to the game on Radio London – the wonders of modern technology means that we can now access Radio London via our Sky dish. It’s bloody marvellous – especially as we have commentators with a Spurs bias which is an event as rare as hens’ teeth. COYS.
