OK – first an apology. I am a dumbo. I kept looking at yesterday’s pic and wondering why it looked so “blocky” colour-wise. For some reason I saved the file on quality 3, in other words low. Sorry – it was stoooooooopid.

Tomorrow I go back to real life as my Mum and Dad go home. So, I thought I’d celebrate the wider family life by doing this rather strange shot of us all watching “That Thing You Do”. It’s always a bit of a tricky balance finding things that we all like or at least we all tolerate! Films like this are the best sort of viewing because they’re unlikely to offend anyone’s senses. As for food, to be honest, we don’t ever get a balance food-wise as Dad is very much a “meat and two veg man” and we are quite the opposite so I end up feeding DM and I strange hybrid meals that include two veg but no meat while they are here. For recreation, my Dad has spent the day in the county records office trying to find evidence of long-lost rellies-in-law while I have been to Plymouth to Uni and for lunch with my Mum. Tomorrow though, they disappear off up the motorway and we will slip back into our normal routine.

The whole family is in the shot because the blurry blob front left is Lola, who has, in her usual endearing way, decided that she’s got something interesting to poke about at. JD is also no more than a blurry blob between me and ‘im. The “old team” feature too – it’s their photos on the wall.

Otherwise, it’s no more or less than the detritus of our world. Every surface covered in bits and bobs, with lots of madly coloured things thrown in!
