I went out this morning, bought tiles, adhesive and a fancy Dan tile cutter and have spent the rest of the day tiling.

The tile cutter is fantastic – such a great timesaver over the manual ones – it’s one of the electric ones with a circular saw blade so you can cut corners with the blink of an eye.

I’ve done approximately 1/5 of the job – I reckoned it was about 5.5 square metres when I measured up and I’ve used about 1 ¼ square metres of tiles so far. By my reckoning I’ll be done in another couple of days….plus grouting time.
