I just returned from a visit to England and the southern coast. It was some of the most beautiful landscape I've seen anywhere.

I was in Cornwall last time in August´91, the first time I went to was in 1980 and 1981 to learn english at Bricent School near the promenade at Penzance.I love it, it reminds very pretty times there, lovely weather and people.I wish I lived at Penzance, I still have dreams going back and see again the beautiful landscape and have a drink in the Turkshead or have a walk to Marazion and see St. Michael's Mount. There are so many things to do and visit that you can't imagine.My name is Mercedes and come back from Spain, Seville.This year I will do all my best to go with my family and stay there for a few days, how I wish it!.

I have been comming to newquay all my life and these pictures are a wounderful reminder of my home from home. i cant wait to get back down to Polly Joke beach!

Linda your canon purchase DOES make you a photographer (witness cornwall gallery) - thank you! -very pretty, timeless, a very old part of us - makes me want to poke about the north atlantic some day; thanks for capturing a bit of it and so well.

Not me, that's for sure! I was in Cornwall in late September/October last year and had similar weather. It's easy to see why the artists loved it. Your pictures take me right back, they're lovely - beautiful colours - those blues just sing out and the great feeling of space and freedom.

Beautiful photos of a wonderfully photogenic location, Linda! We were in Cornwall in May, 1999---it seemed like a good idea at the time. It rained and was COLD for two weeks straight! (I have sworn NEVER to return to England.) You had much better luck with the weather, obviously, and you knew how to take advantage of it. Super gallery!
