I, like so many others on pbase, find photographing windows, doors, stairs and pathways irresistible. The allure, is the stories imagined. I find that I imagine and ponder what these stories could be and am thereby entertained by the beauty, wonder, nostalgia, whimsy, intellect, and the emotive capacity therein. I thank the many pbase photographers who have shared their such images - I visit these Galleries often.

In presenting this Gallery, which is primarily Windows and Doors - I have tried to capture a reality that suggests there could be two stories - thus "The View - from Outside-in and from Inside-Out! However, occasionally an image may simply reflect one point of view. ... I struggle with the dilemma to share my perceptions about a vignette or to simply allow you the freedom to imagine - the whereabouts and 'the story' yourselves. ... I truly enjoy both styles of presentation, so, you may find that sometimes I present one way and sometimes the other.
