One of my favorites of this galery. These lines are a striking contrast with the expected trajectory of the ball player. The crop is really good, focusing on the geometry rather than the pure human component of it.

I love the treatment of this shot, and the prominence of the textures. The unusual crop works very well for me. Was it a deliberate choice to do the B&W toning in a way which deemphasises the ball? The focus instead on the legs makes this much stronger.
