blues

Another child portrait that I'd like to talk a little more... I was shooting a desert sunset
when a man came to me and asked if I could take a picture of his granddaughter. She's very shy
and looked kind of sad, perhaps due to her wound. She gave me a quick glance before walking
away with her grandpa. I didn't have the chance to show them the picture. But I liked it,
partly because of the way she looked at me and partly because of her "blues"...

What beautiful eyes! A very touching photo.
Perhaps they didn't realise they could see the image on screen?

The colors are working together very well. The blue and the dark golden skin. She looks a little bit sad, but that does not look to be a permanent sadness. The mouth is still sparkling.

It seems you did manage the required shot of blue while in Jodhpur, even if it is clothes not walls ...
I also had an experience (in Agra) of someone asking me to take a picture of him with his family. In that case also, he didn't seem to want to see it or to ask for a copy. I wasn't quite sure what that was all for. This girl is rather cuter than that family was, though.
