Mumbai India

a tour stop

Hmmm... Not sure why I chose this one to post but I simply like it.
Yes I know I’m way behind my comments. But what I badly need now is sleep...
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Catch up soon! Meanwhile I shall leave you with Bruce :-)

An example of forced universal culture. For a lack of marketing, very little music from India is universal, but in a poor place of India, you find an icon of America! I also like the opposition of the empty chair and the sitting legs without chair. Excellent!

Interesting and odd find...
Bruce looks out of place in India. Somehow everything works here, including the anonymous feet. :)

Love the Springsteen poster, burned by the sun. Great crop, very creative!

Yep, like it too - for the blue colour (reflected in the floor as well) and the composition - interesting to include the legs and to not include much else from that room. It instantly makes me want to know what's in there.

Love this. Reminds me of Kals' work.

A very expressive image this one and it's meaning doesnt come immediately. You have to sit and wait for a while. The sun faded Springsteen tour poster implies the passing of time and the legs are just perfect. I hope he isnt waiting for tickets.

Very interesting find! Wow! Bruce in India. Great composition and the legs to the right give it that extra umphhhh! V

Three elements make this image express its point, Ai Li. The colors of the chair and poster match. The incongruity of the American singer being extolled in an Indian home. And the abstacted legs at right. That fragmented body almost seems to have once been sitting in the blue chair, but when you appeared with the camera, it got up and went inside, leaving you with a chair without a body in it.

Bruce is an international wonder :-) There is something about the empty chair and faded album poster. Well seen!
