Kraig and I traveled in Tanzania and Kenya from February 23rd to March 10th, 2006. Not only was it a treat to have Happy Birthday sung to me by African schoolchildren, but the whole journey was life-changing. The animals were ubiquitous and delightful, we moved through unexpectedly picturesque landscapes, the people were open and charming and the time off was heaven!
