Early family snapshots are all scans from mass-produced drugstore prints.
These were made with diffusion enlargers to minimize dust problems
and with indifferent printing focus to gain the same end. In time,
we hope to replace most if not all with scans from the original Pentax
and Olympus Kodacolor negatives, for better sharpness, gradation and color correction.
Finding those negatives may be the bigger challenge.
