Here is a Currawong nest in the tree next to my apartment. I was lucky enough to be there just as mum (or is it dad?) came back to feed the chicks!! There seems to be 5 chicks, complete with stereotypical greedy-guts as well as a runt. Photos were taken within the space of about 2 minutes on Saturday, October 18, 2003. I used a Canon EOS 10D with a Zuiko 500mm f/8 mirror lens; ISO 800, 1/350 second. |
