011 LEACH'S STORM PETREL

MACHIAS SEAL ISLAND, NEW BRUNSWICK, CANADA

STORM PETRELS NEST IN BURROWS ON THE ISLAND BUT THEY COME AND GO AT NIGHT.
THEY ARE NEVER SEEN BY THE ISLAND VISITORS BUT THEY ARE OFTEN SEEN FROM THE TOUR BOATS AS THEY TRAVEL TO AND FROM THE ISLAND.
