You have to be careful when walking....I suppose they move over very slowly. The birds seem to be in a night trance.

If only one of these were to turn up on the British mainland, hundreds, may be thousands of twitchers would travel to see it!

this is just incredible. I've seen this with literally thousands of Pale Thrush on Hegura-jima in the Sea of Japan but this is far more stunning!!! Mark
