are these identified from the wrong end? jim tremendous photos....given the oppurtunity - what would be the best time for birding there if you had only one day?

Many birds, especially smaller species, migrate at night. Some will stop on our island to rest and they can be approached in the dark. They will not tolerate this cl;ose approach in daylight.
