Cliffside Nesting

Old Head, Kinsale, Co. Cork

The Old Head of Kinsale is a headland near Kinsale, County Cork.
An early lighthouse was established here in the 17th century by Robert Reading.
The area was the nearest land point (11 miles / 18 km) from where the RMS Lusitania was sunk in 1915.
