It was night when my plane landed in Mumbai. Driving through the city was a big shock for me, everywhere I saw people sleeping in the streets. The next day I saw many people, young as well as old, women and men and children... what a hard life they have to live...

But I also saw they didn't shop this old beautiful tree but incorporated the tree in the building they were constructing... I think we can learn from that... We also visited the Gateway of India where the English had enter to occupy the country... "gate way - go away" a nice play of words... I wished they had never entered, for sure not on the way they did... In Kurla we stoped for a while, enough time to have a talk with the children living in such hard conditions. Pravin, the boy in yellow shirt came immediatly and first thing he said to us was "I'm going to the 6th standard". Education is so very much importance...
