This towermill with gallery was built in 1843 after it's predecessor, a wooden postmill burnt down. On the groundfloor these used to be an oil mill too, but this was removed in 1894. The mill activity stopped in 1954. In 1970 the mill was allready in a very bad state. Due to a lot of financial problems it was only in 2015 that a solution was found. Renovation started in 2016 end ended in 2018. The mill interior is almost completely new. Just a few old pieces could be saved and reused. It's a very imposing mill, visible from a far distance and the present millers keep the mill working as it should be.
