This is the hoisting floor or sack hoisting floor. Here the system for lifting or lowering sacks is installed. On the vertical shaft coming from the floor above a round wooden frictionwheel is mounted. under this frictionwheel you see 3 smaller wheels that can be pulled upwards so that the frictionwheel wil drive the smaller wheels. These small wheels are mounted on a horizontal shaft with rope and a hook. By pulling the small wheel against the friction wheel the rope will lower or raise.
