This post mill is a flour mill. Originally built in 1794 in Arendonk but moved to the present spot in 1934. You can see that the foot of the mill is closed. This type of post mill is called post mill with closed base.In case there is just a roof it is called post mill with half closed base. Without anything, just post mill. The post mill which can turn around to put it in the wind is a Flemish invention.
