Progress and finished photos of embellished tweed skirt. I plan a semi-matching jacket using the fabric created by attaching the underlining to the fashion fabric. The effect will be as shown in the last photo in this gallery.

The yarns are attached to the skirt fabric using the Babylock Embellisher machine. The skirt is underlined with rayon lining fabric, and lined with another lining fabric. The hem is left raw a la Prada, and triple-zigzagged to a strip of rayon seam binding on the inside, then the Embellisher was run over the hem area for stability.
