M45 - The Pleiades aka The Seven Sisters aka Subaru ... Image of the Seven Sisters although Sterope may be a bit cut off at the bottom. Two bright stars of this grouping, Atlas and Pleione - the parents, are off the frame to the right side.

Image was taken with a WO110 with a 0.8 reducer/flattener using a ST2000XM. Two minute sub-exposures were used with LUM=12x2m and RGB each = 10x2m. Primary processing utilized CCDStack and Photoshop CS4. Jan. 2010
