2 and a half weeks holidays in stunning Iceland. Although the weather was not perfect for taking pictures (often haze, low hanging clouds and drizzle) the landscapes were breathtaking and the muted light gave a special atmosphere.
We drove 2 weeks with a rented car around the island in counterclockwise direction and did a lot of small hikes. There were so many nice places that it is hard to recommend a specific one - you have to see them all!
We will come back one day for sure to explore the highlands, which we had to skip completely because of our small car.

Information about charging camera batteries: on all camping sites we have been (around 10) it is possible to charge camera batteries but mostly the batteries have to be charged at the washing facilities where everyone has access to (never had problems).
