This is why the city should not be allowed to plant trees or take care of them. It's clear that it was rotten and they di nothing about it and it's also clear that it was trimmed wrong so it would fall on this house. We have several trees on our street that have been trimmed the same way and they are also rotted by the bases as well and could take lives with them when they do fall (and they will)Most of them are crap maple trees that are subject to easy diseases and rotting.I have one in the front and there are two limbs that are rotting at the base and will fall in the next 1-3 yrs, have spoken to the city and they have said they don't have the equipment to handle it but i have seen them handle much bigger ones so i know they are full of waste matter. The one across the street id so lopsided that when it falls soon it will be devastating to the people that live in them two houses. It will probably take the one house with it and severely damage the other. The city needs to made accountable for these actions.
