Hunting at Hill 'n Hound Farm January 30th

10AM Hunt Temperature in mid 30s. Still snow on ground in places. GPS again did not work. Jill, Gene, Lee, and Heather whipped (Mary in car). Small field of 5 mostly hilltoppers. Ran coyote on the other side of the Macomb river, first time on that side of river.

Hi Jayne,

I use a Nikon coolpix. I have two different ones that I use. One is a 2500 and the other is a SQ. It is hard to get action shots and if your horse is moving at all they will be blurry. I think the secret is to have a small camera that is easy to whip out on short notice. I get the best photos of the huntsman when the field reverses and she has to come past me since I usually ride near the back.

Love all your photos. What are you shooting with? I hunt with the Marlborough Hunt Club in Maryland. I have been told that bouncing around on a horse would be too much for the usual digit camera to handle. I use a Nikon 995 Coolpix. My TB is pretty quiet at the checks but I'm not sure I could move on and shoot. What do you do? I would really like to take pictures while I'm out but would really like your suggestions. Thank you.
