It was a 41 degrees when we started. It had rained a lot the previous week so we parked up by the equipment shed. Winds were from the west Northwest at 10 to 15 mph. It didn’t warm up much while we were out. We had some people from the local pony club riding with us as well as a couple of people from Jack Chopps barn. The day was pretty much blank until the very end when they finally got up a coyote and ran it due east across the road where we couldn’t go. Sarah was there but couldn’t get them stopped. Eleanor had to spend much of the afternoon gathering hounds.
