Lunch/Brunch – Prepared by Mary Hensel - Tacos

It was 37 degrees when we started out It was calm and what little wind there was came from the Southwest. Barometric pressure was falling. The temperature climbed to 49 degrees while we were hunting

There weren’t very many of us so we headed down to the kennels to meet Eleanor. It was pretty comical as Gordon got right on the top of her jeep. From the kennels we headed North up to the top of the hill above the horse pasture. We then worked along the woods and across to the east woods. We looped around the outside while Eleanor went into the deepest part of the woods. We were headed North and almost to the field when Jean spied a red fox right in front of us. Hounds soon picked it up and we ran for quite a while but it must have gone to ground in the caves in the bluffs as the hounds lost the scent. We then worked all the way east into Deutschland but the rest of the day was pretty much blank. We covered quite a bit of territory though.

We got back and Mary had taco fixings so we all stood around in the kitchen and assembled our tacos.
