It was a cold day. Winds were from the Northwest at 4-8 mph. Temperature ranged from 32 to 37 deg. F. Barometric pressure was rising. It was overcast. We started an hour later due to the cold weather and frozen ground. There was snow cover in the fields and on the gravel roads.

We left from the parking lot by the equipment sheds and hacked to the West working our way toward the archery range. We then headed north. Hounds spoke for a little bit but not for too long. We headed back east and along lake 33 and then back in. It was good to get out even though it was cold and blank. The scenery was beautiful with the snow on the ground.
