11 1/2 couple hounds

GPS readings 7.94 miles (my gps was off for 45 minutes mid hunt before I noticed) 97 minutes moving, 45 minutes stopped. Moving average 4.9 mph. Max speed 22.6 mph. Total time 3 hrs 17 minutes.

It was a cold day. Winds were from the Northwest at 0-5 mph. Temperature ranged from 31 to 41 deg. F.

First we headed East and then North toward lake 35. We then heard hounds speaking and heading South. We turned back South and Gene stopped the hounds from crossing toward Hwy D. We then worked West back toward the trailers and then North and West to lake six. Unfortunately Sue Marshall’s tall horse was too tall for the cut through and Sue was knocked off her horse and then her horse stepped back and stepped on her leg. Sue has a bone ship in her leg and will be in a cast for a while but should be ok. Ron and Beverly went back to get Sue’s Truck while Sue called her daughter who came to the rescue to make sure the horse got home and Sue got to a hospital for Xrays.

Eleanor then drew toward the trailers and we headed back. We enjoyed Tess’s great curry and rice.
