Lunch/Brunch – Lasagna and salad provided by Beth and John Korenak and Irish Fox.

It was a cool morning and was just at freezing. It had warmed up from even colder weather and the ground was frozen and hard. The lakes all were frozen over and the ice looked quite thick. It warmed up to 37 degrees but was overcast so never thawed. There were snow flurries in the air at times. The wind was quiet and from the west. The barometric pressure was falling.

We headed out the back of Irish Fox and headed west along the trail and came out by lake 37. We went on the south side of 37 and headed east toward highway D. We then headed north and then continued to work our way east through the middle of the Wildlife area. We made a big circle of the area but the day was very very blank.

We eventually gave up and headed in. The lunch was wonderful and was in the observation room above the indoor arena. Many thanks to Beth and John for hosting this hunt.
