It was balmy and the rain was just starting to hit the windshield lightly as I pulled in to Valley Green Farm. The rain stopped and we got ready to go. Just as we were moving off it started to rain again. Barometric Pressure was steady and the winds were from the south at 15mph. The temperature started at 63 degrees and dropped as the front came in. By the time we pulled out it was down to 37 degrees.

We headed North from the clubhouse along the back fence of the horse pasture. We cut through the pasture and headed back toward the barn. It was still raining and Eleanor decided to don some rain gear. Mary then asked the rest of us if we wanted to go back to the trailers for our dusters. We decided that was a good idea. We got back to the trailers and I traded out my coats. Shortly after that it really started to pour. I was back on my horse but I heard someone yelling to put the horses in the trailers. I hopped off and loaded up Maurice. I then went to join Jill in the back of her trailer so we could listen on the radio. Lei and Dr. Bob joined us as well as Eddie. We heard some lightning and shortly after that it was decided to call it a day. I ducked over to my own trailer and untacked my horse in the trailer.

Gerda had fixed a yummy pasta dish for lunch and had lots of other good stuff to go with it including Pecan pies.
