GPS readings 3.65 miles 37minutes moving 19 stopped. 5.74 miles when laid on the Topo Map (note, the hunt went further but I had to stop due to a lost shoe) Also note that the GPS for some reason started late. I had to draw in from the house to point 2 noted.

Temperature started at 27 degrees and increased to 35 deg. F. I was out from 10AM until 11:30 with a shortened ride when one of the guests lost a shoe. Hounds were out from 10AM until 12:30 pm. Barometric pressure was dropping, it was sunny to start and became overcast as the day progressed. Winds were from the SW from 5-9mph.

We started off headed north toward the river and then turned east. The hounds kicked up something pretty quick and crossed the river. Eleanor called them back as the river is too difficult for horses to cross. We headed up through the cross country course and then continued south. Then the hounds struck and we were on a fabulous run that seemed (to my knees) that is was going on forever. We looped back toward the Hill n Hound house with the hounds at full cry, they then turned back south parallel to the highway. This is where I had to stop as the guest who was trying out my horse had lost a shoe. I heard that Mary viewed a coyote later in the day although no one saw what the hounds were on during that first run. Sounded like it was really good and true. They did head back toward Sherwood forest later.
