Tuesday June 20th Glacier Bay

We saw many whales and some sea otters as we entered Glacier Bay. I think the whales we were seeing were Orca. I might have also seen a flock of Puffin but most of the bird life was gulls. We went up the Bay as far as Marjorie and the Grand Pacific Glaciers. Marjorie was more impressive and beautiful although smaller. There were beautiful ice cliffs. We also saw a couple of Eagles and a few seals lounging on ice flows. We then went up The John’s Hopkins inlet to see the Johns Hopkins and Lambugh glaciers. After dinner we went to a Western Line dancing class where we learned the Hitchhiker, the Electric Slide, the Bug, and the Veendam Stomp.
