It was a warm and blustery day. The priest was a no show but that didn't stop the hounds. There were at least 40 riders in all. From the club we headed East toward Brommelsiek Park. The hounds found something in the woods and ran it all the way back through the club grounds into Billy Busch's farm. Eleanor brought the hounds back through the club and sent them back into Brommelsiek's. Then they crossed Schwede Rd and she worked the corn fields and creek behind the My Half Farm horse pasture. It was really warm and very blustery by this time. As she was bringing the hounds it up Toedebusch road, the hounds picked up a scent next to the road and had a glorious run back North across the Dardenne Creek. The field covered 16.58 miles, the longest hunt I've been on this season. They were out over 3 hours. Maximum speed of the field was 27.9 mph which was during the first run in Brommelsiek park.
