Now I know their names. They are lysianthus.

This one is very elegant. Great lights and composition. Do you know the name of this flower? I shot some of them last summer but I don't know their names

graceful and feminine are the two most appropriate words for this confection...

The flowers balletic curtsy make the composition.
Gorgeous light and colours.

The oh-so-lazy-graceful bends does it for me. The muted background is the icing I try for. Lovely keeper shot Leslie.
(thinking out loud...wouldn't it be moody and wintery if the background was frosted/steamed up glass with heavy waterdrops?)

Natural light is the best! Love the bits of red/magenta in the background and the backlit look. Been meaning to write - I got a Flash website up athttp://www.coffeeandphotos.com/wordfolio/ - class project, no new photos. I really need to get out there (anywhere) and take some new ones. But, still snowing here. Someone said it was Spring, but not in Wisconsin.

So beautiful! Love the shades of blue. Beautiful composition with the slight curve. The background brings out the coolness of the colours greatly. Beautiful details too. Vote!
