A perfect and natural A, so beautifully rendered. A fine image and a fantastic start!

Excellent use of lighting and DOF to draw out the "A". I like the toning too.

Not only clear "A", but Also very Artistic work. Thorny and beAutiful, just like life is.
Great B&W And DOF control.

This is not only a beautiful image, but a great invitation to an interesting and eye-opening project. I must go a hunting and join in the fun. Beautiful tones, DOF, and composition here, Les. You get an "A" !!!

Yippee....and worth the wait Leslie.
I'm reasonably sure you don't count Chinese caligraphy as one of your daily hobbies? The 'strokes' of this 'A', (the weight) of the brush strokes, would have been done exactly as this branch you've found. The touch of deep rich sepia and contrasts are of perfect balance as well.

and worth the wait. Rose bush? It has an Itallic look that will suit your E.
