I have no idea, but it looks as though it will be attracting the bees for some time to come with all of those buds. The details and colours are superb!
I do not know what this is either, but I did take pix of it when I was in Monterey on a photo workshop a few years ago. The hummingbirds like it also. Its so pretty. Nice shot.
