Angry rattlesnake on Frijoles Trail.
I was almost back to Pine Springs after a hike up to the Bowl when I heard a rattlesnake just behind me. I kept going a bit further and then stopped and put on the telephoto. He was wedged in between some rocks next to the trail and I must have startled him when I walked by.

This was my first trip with a digital camera.
