The South African Air Force Test Flight and Development Centre (SAAF TFDC) is situated close to Bredasdorp on the Southern most tip of Africa. Once every two years the unit is opened to the public, civilians can fly their own aircraft in there and the public can see what is going on behind the scenes. The November 2007 show was no exception - nearly 200 private aircraft flew in on Fiday and early Satuday, pilots camping Oshkosh style under the wings with air show practice and validations on Friday and the main show on Saturday.
Do you have any pictures of the military heritage living history display at the show? If so is there any chance that you could e-mail them to me at some stage? It would be greatly appreciated. My e-mail add is sian.gibbs@gmail.com or pagibbs@mweb.co.za
Thank you
