3 years passed already .(where the time goes ?) Authorities in Iceland have officially declared the country’s longest volcanic eruption in 50 years over. The spectacle drew hundreds of thousands of tourists despite Covid restrictions to witness its lava flows. This eruption, the sixth in Iceland in the past 20 years, became the longest recorded in half a century as it spewed lava for six months.Geldingadalsgos Volcano site ,self capture. No matter what I'll write, I won't be able to make you feel the same emotions I felt while standing there. It was my last day at the volcano and after five days the lava overflowed and broke the "walls" , arriving all the way till the bottom of the mountain where I was.
