The beauty of this white sand beach north of the arctic circle with stunning blue water and mountains as the backdrop is incredible, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Lofoten Islands. The white sandy beach stretches along the small village, between towering mountains and the open horizon of the Arctic Ocean. In the summertime, you can take a refreshing swim.
The beach is also an excellent place for enjoying the midnight sun, strolling along the waterfront, bouldering on the big rock or simply sitting on the white sand listening to the waves breaking on the shore.
Once again the intrepid Yiannis treks to some far corner and brings us technically and artistically beautiful images we would never otherwise see. Bravo! V++
Fine art here! This is like a painting with those dreamy colors. It reminds me of a beach on the isle of Harris in Scotland I visited once, with those light colors and the bright red house in the foreground. That little sunken house is certainly intriguing and makes me wonder how it got that way. What a great photograph, Yiannis!
