Never underestimate the weather in Iceland..Conditions chance rapidly to the point you can easily loose your already snow covered road .A heavy snow storm came after 10 minutes so we have to turn back after 3 hours driving and trying to reach Hveravellir in the middle of the country with a super jeep ,because it was impossible to see where you going
