This beautiful guy was a race sled dog ,i haven't seen any sled race dogs before but to be honest with you i wasn't really happy with what i saw ,all these dogs are tight on chains, which is commonly used by mushers in their kennels , also they have to sleep outside in the extremely cold Alaskan winter that temp can reach - 60 F and dogs being pushed beyond their endurance or capabilities. I think these races associated with cruelty issues

You describe a very sad practice. This dog looks thin and lightly coated.
