Loyal Senate Building (Leal Senado Building), located at Macao's main square in the centre of the old Christian city, was originally constructed in 1784, the present building dates back to 1874 and is essentially a neo-classical construction.
Nowadays the building serves as the head-quarter office of the Institute for Civic and Municipal Affairs of the Macao SAR．
