Hello,

I noticed that you had excellent film scans. I am currently a film SLR user (Minolta MD/MC) and would like to know what scanner did you use produced these nice pictures? Negative scanner? I made great shots and I want to digitize my negatives into a digital work.

Many photos in PBase are not done using good negative scanner, but yours seem to have lower noise.

Thank you !

Hi Baohui,

I'm flattered that you like my pictures, thanks. You ask me 2 questions,

1. The picture quality when printed out. Quality of pics mostly depends on the stores who handle these pics for you, not your SLR or DSLR. But I would say I like film 35mm more than my istD. Film's color is more saturate.

2. Is 20-35mm good? Yes it's good, especially if you use a film SLR, you definitely should buy one. Slide film + 20-35mm = great landscape. Of course, if you plan to buy a PENTAX DSLR,the angle may not wide enough.

Welcome to my gallery, hope you can leave more messages. Not only praises, if you really thinks my pics are not good, please also let me know.

Hi Denise: I really enjoyed your pictures. I especially like the portraits taken by the Pentax digital SLR. The images are stunningly beautiful. I wonder what's your opinon about the digital images. Are they superior to 35mm pictures when printed? Also, I am thinking of buying a Pentax 20-35mm. What's your opinion about this lens' image quality.

I went to Taiwan this past January and took some photos of places like Sun Moon Lake and the hill top town of Jiu Fen.
